Recap: Charlotte Trojans vs. Stacey Eagles
The Charlotte Trojans posted their biggest win yet this season on Tuesday. They breezed by Stacey at home to the tune of 62-10. With Charlotte ahead 41-4 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Leading Charlotte to victory were Kadence Luna and Gabby Mata. Luna scored 16 points, while Mata scored 21 points. Mariah Boyd was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Charlotte has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-17 record this season. As for Stacey, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Charlotte will head out on the road to take on Lee Academy of Science & Engineering at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Lee Academy of Science & Engineering comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Stacey, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Stockdale at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Stockdale will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
