Volleyball Recap: Axtell Extends Winning Streak to Four

Axtell waltzed into their contest on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Lebo Wolves by a score of 2-0.

While Axtell won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-16.

Maggie Strathman paced Axtell's offense, picking up nine kills. Strathman got some help from Katelyn Detweiler and her 20 assists. Natalee Strathman controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Axtell's win bumped their record up to 25-13. As for Lebo, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 15-24-1.

Axtell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Hartford on the 25th. As for Lebo, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Waverly on the 25th.
