Volleyball Recap: Olivia Nunez-Alley's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Fountain Valley over Evangel Christian Academy

Fountain Valley lost against Evangel Christian Academy back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Danes lost 3-0 to the Eagles. The Danes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-9, 25-15.

Fountain Valley's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Olivia Nunez-Alley, who had 11 digs and five assists.

Fountain Valley now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Evangel Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

Fountain Valley will venture away from home to face off against Miami-Yoder at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Evangel Christian Academy, they will host Peyton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
