The third road contest was the charm for Kokomo, as they earned their first away win of the season. They came out on top against the Muncie Central Bearcats by a score of 8-3 on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-1 on Tuesday.

Treydon Walker tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over 6.2 innings pitched.

At the plate, Cameron Parks was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2025. Harry Blake also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Kokomo kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Muncie Central only managed seven.

The victory was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 2-7. As for Muncie Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kokomo will take on Lewis Cass at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Muncie Central, they will square off against Marion at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
