Basketball Recap: Wilson Tigers vs. Lancaster Bruins
Wilson had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Lancaster Bruins by a score of 87-74 on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Josh Leonard had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double with 25 points and 14 rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last 11 games he's played dating back to last season. Josh Gamble was another key player, going 5-for-10 to rack up 20 points.
Loss or not, Lancaster got some senior leadership from Malik Tinsley and Jayen Reeves. Tinsley posted 23 points and four steals, while Reeves earned 25 points. Another player making a difference was Ni'Quan White, who scored four points and nine boards.
