Football Recap: Robert Evans' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Rosamond over Boron + How To Watch

Rosamond lost against Boron back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The contest between the Roadrunners and the Bobcats didn't end well, with the Roadrunners falling 34-20.

Rosamond's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Robert Evans, who rushed for 118 yards and one touchdown. Evans' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 112 rushing yards. Isreal Valero was in the mix too, providing Rosamond with two scores.

Andrew Gartica had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 106 yards and one TD for Boron. That's the most rushing yards Gartica has posted since back in August of 2024.

Rosamond's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Boron, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Rosamond will face off against rival Desert at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Boron is set to take on their familiar foe California City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
