Volleyball Recap: Greenbrier West Takes a Loss

After flying high against Nicholas County on Thursday, Greenbrier West came back down to earth. The Cavaliers fell 2-0 to the Winfield Generals on Saturday. The Cavaliers haven't had much luck with the Generals recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Greenbrier West's loss dropped their record down to 8-12-1. As for Winfield, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-7-2.

Greenbrier West has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Charleston Catholic on the 4th. As for Winfield, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Wirt County on the 4th.
