Volleyball Recap: Chaparral Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Chaparral was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Temecula Valley Golden Bears. The Pumas were not able to make up for their loss to the Golden Bears from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Hyacinth Peregrino was a one-woman wrecking crew For Temecula Valley. as she had 16 digs and two aces. What's more, Peregrino posted four assists, the most she's had over her last seven matches.

Chaparral's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Temecula Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2.

Chaparral wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Colony on the 12th. As for Temecula Valley, they are taking a road trip to challenge Murrieta Mesa at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
