Pleasant Valley is 8-2 against Shasta since November of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Vikings will host the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Pleasant Valley has four straight victories, Shasta has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Pleasant Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with a 50-38 win over Enterprise on Friday. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 109th, while the Hornets are ranked 502nd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Titus Andrus and Koby Johnson. Andrus had a great game and rushed for 149 yards and five touchdowns on only 12 carries. Meanwhile, Johnson was balling out in the loss, rushing for 183 yards and three scores.

Meanwhile, Shasta had to suffer through a 61-14 loss at the hands of Red Bluff.

Pleasant Valley's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Shasta, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Everything came up roses for Pleasant Valley against Shasta in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 38-0 win. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
