Soccer Recap: Don Bosco Takes a Loss

Don Bosco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels, falling 5-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Gladbrook-Reinbeck this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 back in April.

Don Bosco's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Gladbrook-Reinbeck, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Looking ahead, Don Bosco will be playing at home against Waterloo East at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Don Bosco will be up against Waterloo East's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.47 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Gladbrook-Reinbeck, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 5-0 win against Columbus on the 5th.
