Basketball Game Preview: Santa Fe Catholic Hawks vs. Riviera Prep Bulldogs

Santa Fe Catholic is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They put the hurt on University Christian with a sharp 71-50 victory. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 games by 21 points or more this season.

The team also got some help courtesy of Toby Lane, who went 5-for-9 on his way to 15 points along with six boards and six steals.

Meanwhile, Riviera Prep was able to grind out a solid win over First Baptist Academy on Thursday, taking the game 58-50. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 11th, while the Lions are ranked 73rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Santa Fe Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 23-8. As for Riviera Prep, their win bumped their record up to 20-10.
