Soccer Recap: Kenwood Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Kenwood can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Saint Ignatius College Prep Wolfpack on Wednesday. The shutout was out of character for Kenwood seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Kenwood's defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 12-3-4. As for Saint Ignatius College Prep, their win bumped their record up to 12-7-4.

Coming up, Kenwood will venture away from home to challenge Lindblom at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kenwood will be up against Lindblom's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.42 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Saint Ignatius College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
