Football Game Preview: Tidehaven Tigers vs. East Bernard Brahmas

Tidehaven has won four straight games at home, while East Bernard has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Tigers will welcome the Brahmas at 7:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Tidehaven is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Boling: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Tigers blew the Bulldogs out of the water with a 40-6 final score. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 27-6.

Meanwhile, East Bernard's game on Friday was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They put the hurt on Industrial with a sharp 28-7 victory. That's two games straight that the Brahmas have won by exactly 21 points.

Tidehaven's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for East Bernard, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Tidehaven barely slipped by East Bernard in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, winning 29-28. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Brahmas' Odrick Thomas, who rushed for 145 yards and three scores on only 12 carries. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be easier for the Tigers to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
