It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Falmouth ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Sanford Spartans. The victory was nothing new for the Navigators as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Falmouth's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Harper Drosdik, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Falmouth hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sanford struck out 12 times.

Falmouth's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Sanford, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.

As of now, neither Falmouth nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
