Softball Recap: Willamette Takes a Loss

Willamette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 18-1 to the Roseburg Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-2 on Tuesday.

Macy Rush was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one run.

Willamette's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Roseburg, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-5.

While Willamette had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
