Football Game Preview: Dietrich Blue Devils vs. Carey Panthers + How To Watch

Dietrich hasn't had much luck against Carey recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Blue Devils will head out to face off against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Dietrich has given up an average of 39.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Dietrich had to suffer through a 54-12 loss at the hands of Hansen.

Despite the loss, Dietrich got top-tier performance from Chase Norman, who picked up 64 receiving yards and one TD, and also rushed for 34 yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, Carey put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 54-24 win over Rockland. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by exactly 30 points.

Dietrich better keep an eye on Stockton Sears. He was instrumental in Carey's win, rushing for 331 yards and four scores on only 14 carries. Sears really tore up the turf during one magnificent 82-yard run. Gabe Saili was in the mix too, providing Carey with two TDs.

Carey was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 447 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 210 rushing yards in five consecutive games.

One reason for the win was Carey's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for ten sacks. Tripp Bailey and Saili were the leaders of the group effort as each produced three apiece.

Carey's record is now 6-0. As for Dietrich, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Things could have been worse for Dietrich, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 44-30 loss to Carey in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Blue Devils, Preston Wood (who rushed for 256 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 15.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 91 yards and a pair of TDs) won't be suiting up this time.
