Volleyball Recap: Moundridge Takes a Loss

Moundridge entered their game against Berean Academy on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Warriors. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Moundridge couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Berean Academy a tough time in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 30-28.

Moundridge's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 21-2. As for Berean Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Moundridge and Berean Academy will both be playing Inman the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Inman Teutons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
