Football Game Preview: Space Coast Vipers vs. American Heritage Stallions + How To Watch

Two dominant signal callers in Zion Sandy and Marcus Stracke are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Space Coast Vipers will challenge the American Heritage Stallions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Space Coast is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Frostproof 42-21. The victory was nothing new for the Vipers as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Bradyn Cook produced another solid effort picking up 63 receiving yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 53 yards and one TD. Space Coast also got help from Kadyn Thomas, who showed off his sure hands for 101 receiving yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Space Coast was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 208 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 178 rushing yards in seven consecutive games.

Meanwhile, American Heritage's offense rose to the challenge against a Scorpions defense that boasted an average of only 11.08 points allowed on Friday. The Stallions took their matchup with ease, bagging a 41-9 win over Satellite.

American Heritage's win came from a few key players Space Coast will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Johanthan Cesar, who picked up 115 receiving yards and a pair of scores. What's more, he posted two receiving touchdowns, the most he's had since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of Miles Rose, who picked up 150 receiving yards.

Space Coast's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for American Heritage, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.

Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Space Coast has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 177.4 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like American Heritage struggles in that department as they've been averaging 164.7 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
