Softball Recap: Oelwein Now 6-2 over Last Eight Games

Oelwein won the last time they faced AGWSR and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Huskies were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Cougars. The Huskies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by eight runs or more this season.

Oelwein has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for AGWSR, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-17.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oelwein will welcome Sumner-Fredericksburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for AGWSR, they will take on East Marshall at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
