Volleyball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Columbia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Cape Hatteras Hurricanes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hurricanes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 11th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-7, 25-12.

Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Cape Hatteras, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Columbia is set to challenge their familiar foe Ocracoke at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Cape Hatteras will take on rival Hobgood Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
