Basketball Recap: Oak Hill Takes a Loss

Oak Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 44-19 to the Dirigo Cougars. The match marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Dirigo found their leader in sophomore Abigail Luczynski, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten boards. The contest was Luczynski's third in a row with at least ten points. Emma Witas was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and ten boards.

Oak Hill's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Dirigo, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Oak Hill will host Poland at 6:30 p.m. on January 21st. As for Dirigo, they are taking a road trip to challenge Mountain Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
