Basketball Recap: Cole O' Donoghue Key Part of Team Effort in Knights Win

Lee Park Prep won the last time they faced Central Academy of Technology & Arts and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Knights walked away with a 61-52 victory over the Cougars. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Lee Park Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cole O' Donoghue out in front who dropped a double-double with 29 points and 11 rebounds. O' Donoghue's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 26 points. Another player making a difference was Isaac Watkins, who almost dropped a triple-double with nine points, ten boards, and 12 assists.

The victory got Lee Park Prep back to even at 2-2. As for Central Academy of Technology & Arts, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Lee Park Prep will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Cougars: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
