Carrollton hasn't had much luck against Indian Creek recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Warriors will challenge the Redskins at 5:00 p.m. Carrollton will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Last Saturday, Carrollton beat David Anderson 12-9.
Reagan Schneiders made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two hits any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Marleigh Osolin, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Juliaunna Miller was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.
Carrollton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as David Anderson only posted a batting average of .238.
Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for Indian Creek, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over Brooke on Thursday. That looming 14-3 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Redskins yet this season.
Like Carrollton, Indian Creek also got a great game from a two-way player: Payton Rath. She pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Rath was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.
In other batting news, Kylie Dray was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Riley Sadler, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Carrollton, their record now sits at 3-0.
Carrollton's speedy runners might be the difference in Friday's contest. The Warriors have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.7 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Indian Creek, though, as they've been averaging only 0.9 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Carrollton continue to outrun the ball?
Carrollton might still be hurting after the 9-0 defeat they got from Indian Creek when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
