Football Recap: Central Mountain Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Central Mountain's offense. They were outmatched by the Williamsport Millionaires and fell 42-0. The Wildcats lost against the Millionaires in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 36-17 score last time.

Kyle Everett threw for 79 yards on 11 of 18 attempts. Mario Serafini was his top target, picking up 34 receiving yards. On the ground, Dalton McDermott rushed for 94 yards.

Williamsport was led to victory by Tevin Williams and Giovanni White. Williams rushed for 93 yards and two TDs, while White rushed for 118 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 14 carries. Those 93 rushing yards gave Williams a new career-high. Trey Damschroder got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Central Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Williamsport, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Central Mountain will be playing in front of their home fans against Selinsgrove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Williamsport, they will head out to take on Shikellamy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
