Basketball Recap: Denver South Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Denver South was feeling good fresh off their 91-40 takedown of Denver North on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Ravens fell 53-49 to the Columbine Rebels on Friday.

Cash Boykin had an outrageously good game for Columbine as he dropped a double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Boykin a new career-high in blocks (seven). Brody Burkhalter was another key player, putting up 12 points and six boards.

Denver South's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Denver South wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 70-68 defeat against Eaglecrest on the 6th. As for Columbine, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mullen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
