Recap: Columbia Montour Vo-Tech Rams vs. Montgomery Red Raiders
The Columbia Montour Vo-Tech Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Montgomery, falling 44-9. Columbia Montour Vo-Tech lost against Montgomery in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 42-8 score last time.
Montgomery's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Falin Reynolds, who scored 18 points along with 8 steals and 5 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Reynolds has scored at least 25% of Montgomery's points. Addison Muhl was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds.
Columbia Montour Vo-Tech bumped their record down to 0-3 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 8.0 points per game. As for Montgomery, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbia Montour Vo-Tech will stay at home for another game and welcome Juniata Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 7th. Montgomery will take on Bucktail at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
