Volleyball Recap: Davidson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Davidson lost against Daphne back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors lost 3-0 to the Trojans.

While Davidson had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18, 25-20.

Daphne's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Isabella Charlton, who had nine digs and three aces. That's the most digs Charlton has posted over her last six matches. Another player making a difference was Audrey Smith, who had five digs and four aces.

Davidson dropped their record down to 13-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Daphne, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 18 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-11 record this season.

Davidson will head out on the road to square off against St. Luke's Episcopal at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Daphne, they will face off against Bayside Academy at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
