Gentry had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt West Fork on Monday. The Pioneers were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Tigers. Considering the Pioneers have won seven matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Gentry has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for West Fork, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Gentry didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 15-1 loss against Shiloh Christian on the 15th. As for West Fork, they will face off against Charleston at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Charleston will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something West Fork surely won't give up without a fight.
