Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Keller's Sixth in Last Eight Outings

Keller extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Steven Ramirez. The Keller Indians strolled past the V.R. Eaton Eagles with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 50-34 thanks in part to Ramirez, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 boards. His afternoon made it ten games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Shawn Harris, who posted eight points and three blocks. Those three blocks gave him a new career-high.

Keller has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-11 record this season. As for V.R. Eaton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-10.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Northwest the next time they take the court. Keller will host Northwest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while V.R. Eaton will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th.
