The Ozaukee Warriors will square off against the Port Washington Pirates at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Ozaukee is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
Ozaukee managed to slip by Kohler the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Warriors lost 3-0 to the Blue Bombers on Thursday.
Ozaukee was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Kohler work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-18, 25-23.

Despite the loss, Ozaukee had strong showings from Bianca Marini, who had nine digs, and Adalyn Krenek, who had nine kills, eight digs, two blocks, and two aces. Krenek is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last five games she's played.
Meanwhile, Port Washington came up short against Grafton on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Pirates have struggled against the Black Hawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
While Port Washington was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15, 28-26.
Port Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Ozaukee, they now have a losing record of 9-10.
Ozaukee couldn't quite get it done against Port Washington when the teams last played back in September of 2023 as they fell 2-0. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
