South Beloit won the last time they faced Westlake Christian Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Sobos walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Sobos.

While South Beloit won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-23.

Serena Hoffman paced South Beloit's offense, picking up six kills. Hoffman got some help from Macey Lineman and her ten assists. Hoffman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

South Beloit's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Westlake Christian Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-6 record.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. South Beloit will square off against rival Trinity Oaks Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Westlake Christian Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Hiawatha at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
