The Little Rock Christian Academy Warriors will head out to face off against the Little Rock Southwest Gryphons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Little Rock Christian Academy has given up an average of 25.9 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

While Little Rock Christian Academy's victory against North Little Rock wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. In a tight game that could have gone either way, the Warriors made off with a 37-36 win over the Charging Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Elijah Robertson was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 81 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries, and also threw for 107 yards and a pair of TDs. Kemp Keller was another key player, having thrown for 278 yards and two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Little Rock Southwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Bryant and fell 42-6. While losing is never fun, the Gryphons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas football rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Hornets are ranked first).

Little Rock Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Little Rock Southwest, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Little Rock Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Little Rock Southwest when the teams last played back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 48-43 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
