Football Recap: Dublin Scioto Does not Make It Easy on Westerville North's Passing Game + How To Watch

Dublin Scioto and Westerville North pushed the score to 42-23 the last time they played Westerville North, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Irish fell 16-7 to the Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Irish of the 42-23 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Even if they lost, Dublin Scioto's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece.

Kayden Childress went supernova For Westerville North., rushing for 218 yards and one TD while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. Those 218 rushing yards gave Childress a new career-high.

This is the second loss in a row for Dublin Scioto and nudges their season record down to 5-5. As for Westerville North, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7.
