Football Recap: Carson Piles Up the Points Against Wooster + How To Watch

Carson had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 36-point drubbing they dealt Wooster on Thursday. The Senators blew past the Colts, posting a 42-6 win. Considering the Senators have won three contests by more than 35 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Carson's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Santino Ferretti, who rushed for 47 yards and one score. Ferretti was even better on defense, picking up a sack, forcing one fumble, and making six total tackles.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Carson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 245 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Another reason for the win was Carson's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Johnathan Alvarado was especially locked on to Wooster's QB and sacked him twice.

Carson is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.5 points on average over those games. As for Wooster, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Looking ahead, Carson will host Reno at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th. Wooster does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
