Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Battle Creek). They secured a 40-35 W over the Mt. Pleasant Tigers on Monday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 38-32 victory back in January.

Mt. Pleasant's loss came despite strong showings from Ashley Turner and Sadie Sandrell. Turner dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten boards, while Sandrell posted seven points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Klarissa Mcfarland, who put up four points and nine rebounds.

Battle Creek picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 3-24. As for Mt. Pleasant, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-22.

Battle Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 78-22 loss against Loretto on the 18th. Mt. Pleasant does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
