Basketball Recap: Gospel Light Christian Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

Gospel Light Christian had won four straight home games and Brooklyn Miller did her part to make it five on Friday. Gospel Light Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against the Vandalia Christian Vikings, sneaking past 46-43 thanks in part to Miller, who went 9 of 17 on her way to 22 points. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Despite the loss, Vandalia Christian still got an impressive performance from Jaida Steele, who posted 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Spatafora, who put up ten points.

Gospel Light Christian's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Vandalia Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
