There's no place like home for Thomas MacLaren School, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. Everything went their way against the Fountain Valley Danes on Wednesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-18, 25-14.

Benny Ambuul paced Thomas MacLaren School's offense, picking up nine kills. Ambuul got some help from Chase Vadala and his 15 assists. Vadala was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Thomas MacLaren School pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Fountain Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Coincidentally, Thomas MacLaren School and Fountain Valley will both be playing Colorado Springs Christian the next time they take the court. The Highlanders will head out to face the Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Danes will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
