Basketball Game Preview: Arlington Lions vs. Redlands East Valley Wildcats

The Arlington Lions will be taking part in a tournament against the Redlands East Valley Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Arlington's tournament run continued when they took on Fontana on Tuesday. The Lions took a 49-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Steelers. The contest marked the Lions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Redlands East Valley strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took down Chaffey 66-49.

Arlington better keep an eye on Demaj Moore. He was instrumental in Redlands East Valley's win, shooting 50% from the field on his way to 14 points along with six steals and five boards. Moore is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed four or more in each of the last five games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Mason Young, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 15 points and three steals.

Arlington now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Redlands East Valley, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.
