Football Recap: McEwen Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact McEwen can now relate to. They took a 42-28 bruising from the Eagleville Eagles on Thursday. The Warriors' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Despite the loss, McEwen still got an impressive performance from Tylon Carter, who threw for 123 yards and one TD while completing 73.3% of his passes, and also punched in one score on the ground.

Eagleville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Benton Fox, who rushed for 22 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also threw for 86 yards and one TD while completing 77.8% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Jordan, who rushed for 93 yards and one score.

McEwen's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Eagleville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
