Baseball Recap: Quapaw Takes a Loss

Quapaw managed to slip by Wyandotte the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Quapaw Wildcats lost 14-6 to the Wyandotte Bears on Saturday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Jaxon Myrick made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Hayden Radford, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Quapaw now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Wyandotte, their record now sits at 3-1.

While Quapaw had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
