Baseball Recap: Seminole Indians vs. Denver City Mustangs
Seminole won against Levelland last Friday with nine runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. Everything went the Seminole Indians' way against the Denver City Mustangs as the Seminole Indians made off with a 9-1 victory. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Obed Reyes was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and only one walk). Reyes was also big at the plate, going 1-for-5 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Seminole got a massive performance out of Jaycen Robledo, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Michael Ray, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Seminole kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Denver City onlymanaged four hits.
The win made it two in a row for Seminole and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.
Coming up, Seminole will take on Dumas at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Denver City will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on New Mexico Military Institute at 4:00 p.m. on March 4th.
