Puyallup is a perfect 8-0 against South Kitsap since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Vikings are taking a road trip to challenge the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. Puyallup will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
Puyallup is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Washington's top teams: Sumner, who was ranked fifth at the time (Puyallup was ranked fourth). The Vikings blew past the Spartans 58-22 on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won four contests by 34 points or more so far this season.

Puyallup's receiving core played a big role in the win, headlined by J'Isaiah Mitchell and Lawson Looker. Mitchell picked up 156 receiving yards and one touchdown while Looker picked up 84 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Those 156 receiving yards gave Mitchell a new career-high.
Puyallup didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Sumner to a completion percentage of just 33.3%. The Vikings weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 60.7%.
Puyallup's defense didn't let Nate Donavan, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks. Keegan Johnson refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself.
Meanwhile, South Kitsap played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 41-15 to Curtis. The Wolves have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
South Kitsap's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Puyallup, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's game: Puyallup has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 436.6 total yards per game. It's a different story for South Kitsap, though, as they've been averaging only 246.4 total yards. Will Puyallup be able to march up the field at their leisure again, or will the Wolves flip the script?
Everything came up roses for Puyallup against South Kitsap in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 42-14 victory. In that contest, the Vikings amassed a halftime lead of 35-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
