Soccer Recap: Walsingham Academy Comes Up Short

Walsingham Academy lost against Norfolk Academy back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Trojans came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 8-2. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Walsingham Academy were already down 6-0.

Addie Sarantakos and Sam Broady scored both of Walsingham Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 42 goals.

Walsingham Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-3-4. As for Norfolk Academy, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3-1.

Walsingham Academy didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-1 victory against Immanuel Christian on the 12th. As for Norfolk Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Catholic on the 9th.
