Volleyball Recap: Corona Del Sol Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Xavier College Prep + How To Watch

Corona del Sol faced Xavier College Prep in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Aztecs came up short against the Gators, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

While Corona del Sol was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-16, 25-18.

Jalynn Drake paced Corona del Sol's offense, picking up eight kills. Drake got some help from Adelyn Chang and her 14 assists.

Corona del Sol's loss dropped their record down to 30-6. As for Xavier College Prep, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 30-2.

Corona del Sol wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Desert Vista on the 30th. As for Xavier College Prep, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Millennium on the 29th.
