Softball Recap: GMG Comes Up Short

GMG fell victim to Rockford and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The Wolverines just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

GMG's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Rockford, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 3-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. GMG will challenge South Tama County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rockford, they will take on North Butler at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bearcats' pitching crew has only allowed 1.6 runs per game this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
