Basketball Recap: Tuba City Takes a Loss

If Tuba City was feeling good fresh off their 74-45 takedown of Pinon last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tuba City Warriors received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 49-34 to the Snowflake Lobos. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Lobos recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Tuba City now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Snowflake, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tuba City will host Page at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Page has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Snowflake, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Winslow at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Winslow's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
