Football Recap: Mohave's Rushing Attack Does It Again + How To Watch

Mohave strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 14-6 win over the River Valley Dust Devils. That's more bragging rights for the Thunderbirds, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Mohave was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 227 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 190 rushing yards in nine consecutive matches dating back to last season.

One reason for the win was Mohave's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Anthony Moses was especially locked on to River Valley's QB and sacked him twice. Mohave received some extra help from Ruiz, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Mohave's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for River Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Mohave will face off against Coconino at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Thunderbirds' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for River Valley, they will challenge Odyssey Institute at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
