Baseball Recap: Randolph Gets the Win

Randolph won the last time they faced Brocton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cardinals walked away with a 13-8 win over the Bulldogs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cardinals.

Randall Nottingham was a standout: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Bryson Pitts was another key player, going 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Randolph now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Brocton, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Randolph will square off against Ellicottville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Brocton, they will face off against Clymer Central at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
