Baseball Recap: Colebrook Academy Makes It Nine in a Row on the Road

Colebrook Academy took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Gorham, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Mohawks narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Huskies 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Mohawks as they're now sitting on four straight.

Jack Kyler was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Kyler is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Colebrook Academy pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.1 runs over those games. As for Gorham, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
