King is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Clear Falls, posting a 56-7 victory. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 67th, while the Knights are ranked 411th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Timothy Potts was his usual excellent self, throwing for 168 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 passes, while also rushing for 33 yards and a pair of scores. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two). Antwon Sanders helped out on the ground, rushing for 88 yards and two rushing touchdowns.

The team also got some help courtesy of Tavis Coleman, who threw for 158 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Shadow Creek was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 270 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Shadow Creek, racking up 13 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Jaylen Addai, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

King's record now sits at 9-2. As for Shadow Creek, their record is now 8-3.
